Competitive Game Conflict Form

From time to time there will be a conflict that arises with a scheduled league game. Please note, that there are many moving parts involved in rescheduling a game. Everything from gym availability, to opponent availability, ref availability and more. As such, games should ONLY be rescheduled sparingly. Games should NOT be rescheduled if you are simply missing a player or two, or your team scheduled a non-basketball activity after the schedules were released.

The process for rescheduling a game is as follows:

1)Contact the opposing team’s coach to make them aware of a conflict. Contacts are available on the master gym sheet under each age division.
2)Come to an agreement on a suitable replacement date/time for the game (ex: “We aren’t available on Jan 10th, but can host you on Jan 16th at 6:30pm at AY Jackson HS. Does this work for you?”).
3)Once a replacement date is agreed upon, please complete the sheet below and hit submit.

PLEASE NOTE: Submitting a request to reschedule a game does not guarantee that the new date will be feasible. OVBABO, or the local referee board MUST approve the game first. Please wait for confirmation from the league that the request has been granted prior to informing your teams. Please provide as much advance notice as possible. Requests to reschedule a game that occur within a week of the playing date will be difficult to accommodate.
